Design Concierge

Design Concierge is perfect for clients who aren’t ready to take on a full interior project but want to partner with a designer for some ideas and inspiration, or smaller projects. This could include help selecting paint colors, window treatments or furniture; space planning; or just giving a space that little something extra to bring it to life.

Full-Service Design

With Full-Service Design, clients experience a seamless, high-touch design journey where every detail is meticulously managed. From initial concept to procurement and installation, we guide clients through all aspects of your project for a seamless transformation of your space. E-Design

E-Design is for clients who want a personalized design and decorating experience, but online. With E-Design we’ll work collaboratively to bring your vision to life with detailed mood boards, floor plans, color schemes and curated shopping lists. You’ll get the timeless, elevated, one-of-a-kind interior by Hemenway House, but at your own pace.

OUR PROCESS

How We Work

  • In getting to you know, we’ll spend time together discussing in depth your goals, visions, how you live, your likes and dislikes, and more. We’ll also walk through and take detailed measurements of the space. This step lays the foundation for the design plans and ensure the end result is everything you dreamed of and more.

  • During the design phase we’ll create a comprehensive design plan for you complete with space planning, furniture layouts, colors, finishes, materials, lighting and furniture. You’ll be able to visualize the space through mood boards, floor plans, 2D renderings, and color and material samples. Depending on the project, we’ll have you approve the furniture layout first.

    Hemenway House partners closely with any necessary contractors, and we’ll review the plans and material selections together, collaborate on any changes, and finalize all of the details together - from your countertop selection to your living room rug and everything in between!

  • In the procurement phase, placing and managing orders will depend on the specific project. For some projects you may purchase and ship products directly to your house, while other projects we’ll take care of everything for you. In those instances, we’ll place the orders, manage the shipping and receiving, and schedule deliveries. In both instances we’ll partner with any necessary contractors, and manage external custom vendors until shipping.

  • Now, the fun part – installation!

    Depending on your project, particularly if your space is a blank canvas, we’ll schedule an installation day where we’ll bring the space to life. On installation days, all items will be installed, placed and styled perfectly. We oversee every installation to ensure that all of the details are exactly as discussed and exactly as you envisioned. Once complete, you join us for the reveal and get to sit back and admire the space for many years to come.
